Traditional animal skins rebel and take on a cheeky appearance: witness this embroidered fabric with dazzling accents, which dares all chromatic fantasies. There are bold hues such as guava pink and fuchsia, matcha and olive green, butter yellow and pineapple, until a surprising blue and red mixture called "peacock" – a nod to an extravagant peacock. Only the brown version moderates this explosion of colours a little. Called Coup de griffe, this fabric is embroidered with viscose yarns on a cotton/linen base, straight out of the imagination of Pierre Sauvage, at the head of Casa Lopez.
