Thevenon "Sphinx" velvet jacquard fabric

Velvet works here in an original way, covering almost the entire surface of its thick, shiny, compact thread, and leaving a few gaps with random contours that uncover the woven bottom. One has the impression that a consistent material is scraped, scratched, and that one discovers something underneath. The oatmeal, camel and bronze colours echo those of the Sphinx velvet pattern.
